Sagamu is a city and Local Government Area in Ogun State. Sagamu Local Government area is divided into (15) Fifteen Political Wards. The Remo branch of the Yoruba people founded this area. The towns that make up this LGA are; The 13 towns that made it up are : Makun, Offin Sonyindo, Epe, Ibido, Igbepa, Ado, Oko, Ipoji, Batoro, Ijoku, Latawa and Ijagba. Sagamu region is underlain by major deposits of limestone.
