Itire is located at the mainland, Lagos State. It is in Surulere Local Government Area, under Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area. Itire has a monarchial ruler that is in charge of traditional and administrative affairs in the neighborhood, the highest rank is titled ‘Oba of Itire’. It is a residential area that has a number of schools, churches, mosques, and hospital.
