Igede is a city located in Ekiti State. Igede is next to Igede-Ekiti. The prominent private university in Ekiti State is Afe Babalola University, Ado–Ekiti[7] (ABUAD), founded by the lawyer, philanthropist, administrator, and farmer Afe Babalola. The State enjoys tropical climate with two distinct seasons. These are the rainy season (April–October) and the dry season (November–March).
