Isoko North is one of the two Local Government Areas in the Isoko region of Delta state, the other is Isoko South. The Isoko people are an ethnolinguistic group in Southern Nigeria, near the Northwestern Niger Delta. The Isokos speak the Isoko language. Major towns in Isoko North are Ozoro, Owhelogbo, Otor Owhe, Otor-Igho, Oghara-Iyede and Emevor.
