Oron is the third largest ethnic group and largest city in Akwa Ibom state. There are five Oron Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom state and one Local Government in Cross River State. Uyo and Eket are the largest cities in Akwa Ibom before Oron. Oron has a population of around 250,000 people.
