Mkpat Enin is a town and Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. It is located within Eastern Obolo, Oruk Anam, Etinan, Onna to Ikot Abasi. Mkpat Enin is rich in oil and natural gas. This LGA has four clans and 87 villages and traditionally they are Ibibio speakers. Their forest reserves include timber and palm produce.
