Standing at about 30 meters, the waterfall sits on the Gurara River along the Suleja-Minna Road.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Small streams branch off from the Gurara River, flowing around rocks on the cliff. These streams converge and cascade into a pond roughly 20 meters below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The waterfall takes its name from a nearby village on the river\u2019s edge. European explorers first discovered the site and saw its potential for recreation, eventually transforming it into a tourist destination.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gurara Waterfalls ranks among Nigeria\u2019s top holiday spots. A paved road leads to the falls, where visitors can relax at a mini-bar. A pavilion stands nearby, giving tourists a perfect view of the waterfall.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/booknaija.ng\/places\/list-tags\/natural-streams\/\">Small streams<\/a> split off from the main <a href=\"https:\/\/booknaija.ng\/places\/city\/gurara\/\">Gurara<\/a> River and gently wind around the rocks at the cliff\u2019s edge.
